Antigua

This is Antigua. The views from here were really great. We went on a tour of the country. It is not a very big island. The picture of me and the first view are of Nelson's Dockyard. We also went snorkeling and to a very fine white sandy beach! We don't have sand on our beaches so it was a big deal for us. The drink on the island is rum punch. The make their own rum and it has a lot more alcohol than you think, a few cups will do you in!

Snorkeling in St. Thomas

We went snorkeling in St. Thomas and saw a ton of turtles and stingrays. We also say 2 barracudas, 1 chased me! The turtles were coming right up next to us to get air, the picture of the turtle getting air is not zoomed in at all, we were right there!

St. Thomas

This is St. Thomas, USVI. It was great, very very hot and 100% humidity. It was our favorite place. We went snorkeling and I will post those pictures soon.

San Juan

This is us in San Juan, Puerto Rico! We were at an old fort. The cruise ship is behind me.

Cruise Ship Pictures

Hey everyone. Finally some pictures from our wonderful Eastern Caribbean cruise! These are some pictures of the ship. The dog (bought the book that shows you how to make the towel animals!), Shawn and I with our waiters at dinner, Imade and Hari. They were very funny. Shawn in the Habana Bar on the ship, we went and listed to music there every night, the view from our room down to the ocean. We were on the 11th deck! And me on our deck!

Snorkeling

Sorry it has been a while since we posted some pictures. Here are some underwater ones! In the picture with a fan there is a snake like fish, then Shawn diving down to the sunken Navy LCU, it was sunk to become a reef. Then a picture of the sun from underwater. This little fish would not stop following me, it is called a pilot fish, it scared me at first. The last picture is of two manatees!! There were only about 10 feet from us when we saw them. We had to darken the picture but you can see the back of them really well. It was really cool, most people see manatees when there are in boats, most people don't see them so close up. It was very cool!! We love and miss you all!

Ramsey!

This is our new dog Ramsey! He is a basset hound and he is about 4 months 0ld. We have had him for a few days. He is a lot of fun to be around. The potty training is frustrating, but he seems to be getting it. We love and miss you all!

Here are some pictures from the 4th of July. We rented a boat and went fishing with a few friends and watched the firework show. It was a really good show, but as you can imagine it is hard to take pictures of the fireworks, we did get one good one. I caught a fish and a crab. Yes a crab, he was eating the squid we were using to fish. I know they are kind of late (a month) but I though you all might like to see them! Love and miss you All!

Underwater Pictures!!

(if you click on the pictures they will show larger in another window and it is easier to see some of the fish!)

Hello Everyone! We went snorkeling last Sunday at Girl Scout Beach (there is a Girl Scout sign at the entrance). The water was a little murky but not too bad. There are a lot of great coral reefs at this beach! This is the first time we used our underwater camera so the pictures are not the greatest but you get the idea. We tried to get some with color and fish, there is even one with a jelly fish (we didn't get stung this time, but we have before, not fun)! There are also pictures of both Shawn and I. We hope you enjoy them!

We are doing well here. Shawn is just finishing up his Trainer Trainer course, he is going to teach the crewman and coxswain schools on base, he is teaching his first class right now! Work is going well for me, I might get to go to the Academic Advisor Conference in Columbia, MO. That would be fun, it is at the end of August for 2 days. This is the last week of classes for us and then we get a 2 week break, that should be nice.

We hope you are all doing well. We miss and love you all!
